Faith. Hope. Trust.

This month has been a challenging one for me in some aspects. Although I was lucky enough to escape for a few days over the weekend with my girlfriends, it has understandably taken the news of the Philippines disaster we are all reading about to pull me back to earth and understand how lucky I really am! Today was the first day I read up properly about Typhoon Haiyan and the devastation it has caused to Philippines and Vietnam. The government has estimated over 10,000 have died, and over 600,000 are now homeless. Medical, food and water is now the most vital need for survivors. It’s heart-warming to see the rest of the world come out in forces to help those affected, countries such as US, UN, Japan & Australia who have the best resources to help. However for those of us who want to help, but can’t exactly jump on the the next volutneer plane departing Darwin, there are some options:
1 // You can donate direct to Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan Appeal. 2 // Have a look at the artwork from Happy Hands Project. Pauline from Happy Hands is selling an instant download of one of her prints, with 100% proceeds going to the Red Cross Appeal.
