Early Saturday morning we headed down to the Fisherman’s Wharf for a quick wonder around the Tall Ships Festival. Having moved back to the city in 2012 to be closer to…everything*, we try our hardest to check out local festivals & events when they’re on. And when we’re home. Which isn’t too often between the months of April & August – but who wants to be outside during those colder months anyway!
We enjoyed a quick walk along the wharf, peered into a few ships, enjoyed some grub from one of my fav’s in the Port: Red Lime Shack, and then headed back home for an afternoon of DIY curtain-making (blog post to come shortly).
*we did love our time in the country and it’s perks of quiet streets, being close to family, and knowing everyone at the local pub. But beachside living in the burbs is definitely the place for us!
